00:00The Fastest Horse of the Week this week is brought to you by Nashville, one of the fast
00:06sires at Windstar Farm.
00:08Look, we know he's a fast horse.
00:10He's got the track record at Keeneland for six furlongs, but Nashville is also off to
00:15a fast start at stud.
00:19He had a very strong Keeneland November sale as weanling sold for $230,000, $190,000, $140,000
00:25and so on.
00:26That $230,000 filly was a half sister to Iroquois Stakes winner Jonathan's Way, who we just
00:32saw compete in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile.
00:35Nashville's weanlings averaged four and a half times their stud fee, the second highest
00:41ROI among all freshman sires, with two or more weanlings that sold in 2024.
00:46You get all that, and Nashville is standing for only $15,000 at Windstar Farm.
00:53Now, the Fastest Horse of the Week is a horse that we'll talk about a little more later
00:57in the podcast, No Balls, who won the Kennedy Road at Woodbine on Synthetic with the buyer's
01:05speed figure of 100, so he thinks he's got the best name, the gelding, of any active
01:10racehorse right now.
01:11We had a lot of fun with the name when No Balls won the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint last
01:17year on the telecast, especially since the telecast for that particular race was on
01:23Peacock and not NBC.
01:26We could just go balls to the wall and talk about No Balls being a gelding and how fun
01:33that name was, but No Balls, back, he's back as the Fastest Horse of the Week.
