By 2027, we will have the capacity for contactless payments on regional buses right across regional NSW.
00:09
We've got 400 buses that will be able to accept this technology as it rolls out.
00:14
The rollout will take some time.
00:16
We've seen right across regional NSW a real hunger to be able to use contactless payments.
00:23
With the rollout of the trial, we've seen a 42% uptake in people choosing to pay through contactless technology.
00:30

00:33

00:36

00:41
but we also know that a lot of people don't want to have to carry cash
00:45
and they don't want to have to get change and muck around with that.
00:50
So this is a really good option to give choice to everyone across the state.
