00:19As the data showed, almost 35 individuals died from the road crashes a day, which is equivalent to more than 12,000 annually.
00:27Of these, 3 out of 10 children from age 5 to 9 years old died from road crash incidents, while 2 out of 10 children are from ages 10 to 14 years old.
00:37As of now, the Department of Transportation targets to reduce the road traffic deaths to approximately 35 percent until 2028.
00:46This is part of the Philippine Road Safety Plan 2023-2028, which is a strategy to improve road safety in the country.
