00:00I think it was a bit shocking for me because obviously it was on a lot of headlines and
00:17my intention was never to tackle him like it showed. I just wanted to play the ball
00:24and obviously that happened and I clearly saw that the Argentinian fans were not happy
00:32with that and made themselves clear. But on a mental level I felt like I was raised pretty
00:41good and I know my worth and I'm not going to get butched by some comments online and
00:49I feel like I'm not valued as I am and I felt like my teammates and the coaching staff
00:57on my national team was really supportive and it helped me a lot for sure.
01:02I did have a lot of offers after the Copa America but I chose Nice because of how important
01:08they emphasise the human being and you know a lot of the top clubs will just find a player
01:18that will perform well but would not really care about how he is mentally or what's his
01:26background, how's his family doing and all that stuff but I just felt like the organisation
01:31here was really putting an emphasis on who I am and I felt like this was the right choice
01:38for me and they really take care of their players, they really want to develop them
01:44and they take time to do so so I feel like this was the right club for me because I'm
01:49also in Ascension, it was really fast for me you know, I started playing at 23 years
01:56old kind of at the professional level so my career had just begun and on a top league
02:03like this people will, I'd say will have a lot of expectation but this club knows that
02:10I started really recently and they'll take time for me to adapt and they've shown me
02:20a lot of confidence and trust and yeah I'm really proud with my choice.
02:29I think that the speed of play is up a notch for sure and I also say that like I said earlier
02:39the tactical level over here is a bit faster and you'll have to really understand it, it
02:47feels like it's a game of chess where you have to play really smart and everything has
02:56to be thoughtful you know and you can't just rush in plays and just make something happen
03:04as you would in MLS you really have to wait for a good moment to see the game opening up
03:11and yeah I think as a defender obviously playing against top top strikers like Azed, Ousmane Dembélé
03:20and all that calibre of players I feel like you will evolve and also learn so yeah this
03:27is for sure the biggest difference for me.
03:32Sure, I mean I was not intending of leaving this club even if we won't enter the Champions
03:38League but obviously it's a dream of mine to play in such a big stage and I'm really
03:44excited to do so with this club because it's a club that gave me a lot of trust and a lot
03:48of confidence and I want to return the favour and perform well on such a big level.
