00:00The Department of Transportation Secretary, Vince Dizon, initiated various reforms in the transportation system in the lines of the train.

00:09Meanwhile, the General Manager of MRT-3, Bernard Ferrero, is in the center of the news.

00:18Part of the reforms in the transportation sector,

00:21this is the reason of the clash with Metro Rail Transit or MRT-3, General Manager Oscar Bongon.

00:27In a message sent to PTV News, the Department of Transportation Secretary, Vince Dizon,

00:32announced that he has submitted his recommendation to replace GM Bongon.

00:36At the moment, only official appointment papers are being reviewed from the President's office.

00:42Even so, he dismissed the clash of the General Manager of MRT-3,

00:45who was about to fix the broken escalator at MRT-3 Taft Avenue Station on March 8,

00:51where 10 passengers were injured.

00:53If he can fix it on the same day, on Saturday, at 10 a.m., when it was broken,

01:01why did he dismiss it until Tuesday?

01:04If I haven't called yet, if I haven't said anything,

01:08our workers should be working.

01:11Our President said again and again that our service to our countrymen should not sleep.

01:19This is one of the inspections by Secretary Dizon that he went around the so-called station yesterday,

01:23where he saw that the escalator was already fixed and the commuters were using it again.

01:27He was also accompanied by DOTR Undersecretary for Railways, Timothy Gianbata.

01:32They also got on the train to better understand the condition of the commuters.

01:37Secretary Dizon assured that DOTR's priority is to speed up the queue of passengers

01:42and improve the system of entering and exiting the stations.

01:47Lighting is also included in the dark areas of the stations.

01:52And there will be covered walkways from the stations to other public transportation,

01:57such as buses and jeeps.
