00:00The PBA Finals Game 2 was held last night between TNT Tropang Giga and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.

00:07Did the Gene Kings recover or did the Tropa make their series lead?

00:13That's what we'll find out in Rafael Bandairel's report.

00:19The series was tied between Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and TNT Tropang Giga

00:26after the Gene Kings' mess-back in Game 2 of the 49th PBA Commissioners' Cup last night.

00:34Ginebra was able to recover so they were able to secure an advantage of 15 points.

00:42Despite this, TNT did not lose confidence.

00:47They slowly recovered until they recovered their advantage in the 4th quarter.

00:54But as the crunch time drew to a close, the Gene Kings' resident import, Justin Brownlee,

01:02scored four consecutive points and a crucial defensive play against Ronday Hollis Jefferson.

01:09The Tropang Giga had one last chance to take the lead in the last seconds of the game

01:15but a tight defense led to a run-in with Hollis Jefferson.

01:20Because of this, Ginebra was able to take the lead in the final score of 71-70.

01:28Brownlee took the lead with 35 points and 11 rebounds.

01:34I gotta give a lot of credit to Steven and Jamie.

01:37They did an incredible job but also our team defense.

01:41I think it was really good.

01:42Trying to stay home on their shooters and not let them get too many open shots especially in transition.

01:47So I think it was just all around a great team effort on defense for the team.

01:52But especially, just gotta give a lot of credit to Jamie and Steven.

01:56They played incredible defense on RHA the whole night.

01:59Coach Tim Coon said that his superstar import showed a different determination.

02:06That's why they didn't hesitate to trust him all night.

02:11We just had a feel tonight that Justin was feeling it.

02:16Justin was really moving.

02:17So we just kept feeding him and feeding him.

02:19It's like we fed the beast because he had that presence about him tonight.

02:28That he was gonna do what it took.

02:31So we ran almost all of our offense through him.

02:35On Wednesday, we'll find out which team will take the lead in the series

02:41and advance to the Season 49 PBA Commissioner's Cup title.

02:46Game 3 of the PBA Finals will be held at Phil Sports Arena in Pasig.
