00:00I can't believe I got it because I was not expecting to get it.

00:03I mean like I think I said you know we don't do this for recognition but it you know I

00:09my mantra when I talk to my PT when I talk to the kids is this whole be who you needed when

00:13you were younger kind of thing so it's really I really like the idea that I've been able to

00:18kind of grow into this role where I've been able to provide safe spaces for kids where they can be

00:23the person they want to be and the person they are.

00:25I'm very proud of myself to have won and because it shows that other people think

00:29that what I'm doing makes an impact.

00:32It's like it's quite nice because like they've all come and they've all enjoyed it and everything.

00:39It's quite surreal actually you don't go into teaching to get nominations you go into

00:43to teach children and make their lives better so it's a bit overwhelming but really lovely to think

00:48that people thought I was deserving of the award.

00:51Very emotional I didn't think I was going to win it which is probably something that

00:55everybody would say.

00:56It means a lot because I was like when I got shortlisted I was like

01:04mind exploded and everything.

01:06I've got my mum my dad and my cousin and my auntie here and obviously they've played a big

01:11part in what I do and especially my mum and dad who have always strived to get the best out of me.
