00:00A fire broke out in houses and markets in Baseco Compound in Manila.

00:14As the fire spread rapidly in Block 15B Market Side, Baseco Compound, Port Area, Manila,

00:20the fire was immediately put out with the second alarm at 4.29pm.

00:25Firefighters had a hard time in the narrow streets of the area.

00:46According to Karen Papa, she saw someone lighting a fire on their roof.

00:55It smelled like electricity. When I looked through the window, the smoke was coming from the roof.

01:00Arnie Sala's condition was also critical.

01:03My grandchild's clothes were soaked in milk.

01:07No one was saved.

01:10The seven children of Benita Villa Vicencio were also there.

01:18I accepted that this is how life is.

01:23We have to get back on our feet.

01:31In the first investigation of the BFP, the fire broke out at 6.15pm.

01:3850 structures were destroyed.
