00:00St. John's burying Butler in the opening game of the day, winning by 21-78-57. The Johnnies easily

00:07cover as a 12 and a half point favorite. A total of 145 and a hook does stay under. Great game in

00:14the second game of the afternoon session, Marquette and Xavier. Huge opportunity for the Musketeers,

00:21playing some great basketball down the stretch, but like North Carolina DRS, only a single

00:27quad one victory so far this season. A golden opportunity against the Golden Eagles. Xavier

00:33led by as many as 14 points in the second half, only for Marquette to come all the way back and

00:39win by two, 89-87. Yeah, a lot of good games yesterday in the Big East, in the world's most

00:45famous arena. I'll tell you one that I was looking at all the way through, the DePaul game. Had a

00:49team total under 65 and a half. I couldn't understand what was going on. DePaul is terrible

00:54on offense. 36-21 at the half. DePaul, I'm like, is Creighton just giving up on the season at this

01:00point? And then they go all the way down and go into double overtime and Creighton ends up winning.

01:04But hear me out on this, and we see this a lot, and it's not because I lost a wager. Sometimes I

01:09watch like, oh, I might be able to get lucky here. Maybe a layup by DePaul. Maybe they get to the

01:12free throw line. They won't be able to get their team total, win the game in regulation. Everybody

01:16goes home happy. I will never understand this. If Ben, you have, let's just say, three to four

01:20seconds left and you got to hoist a 29-foot three-point shot at the buzzer in a tie game,

01:26I'll deal with that. When you have like 15 seconds left and your draw-up design is a

01:3128-foot three-point shot basically at the buzzer, which got blocked, I will never understand that.

01:36What happened to drive to the rim, get fouled, or kick it out for a wide-open jump shot? It's

01:41just the way it is sometimes. So Creighton, big-time win. Why? Against a bad team because

01:45they were getting embarrassed, but also the other side. DePaul missed a golden opportunity there

01:49where they could have closed that game out, weren't able to do it. But it's a fun game to

01:52watch all the way through. I just wish it was lower scoring from one team's perspective.
