00:08statement earlier than planned on Friday, citing the actor's severe psychological distress

00:14following allegations made by YouTube channel HoverLab.

00:18The allegations, published in a video on Monday, claimed Kim Soo-hyun had been dating Kim

00:23Sae-ron for six years, beginning in 2015 when she was just 15 and he was 27.

00:30According to Gold Medalist, the decision to issue their statement ahead of schedule came

00:35after Kim Soo-hyun exhibited symptoms of significant psychological distress early Friday morning,

00:41requiring absolute rest.

00:43The agency also reported incidents of surveillance, stating that individuals with cameras were

00:48seen parked outside their building Wednesday night through dawn, and others were spotted

00:53circling the premises by Thursday afternoon.

00:57In their statement, Gold Medalist clarified that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron did date,

01:03but only from summer 2019 to fall 2020, when Kim Sae-ron was an adult.

01:10They stated that photos released by HoverLab were taken during this period.

01:14The agency also addressed military service letters allegedly sent between the actors

01:19in 2018, explaining they were communications Kim Soo-hyun sent to several close acquaintances

01:25during his service, not romantic correspondence.

01:29Perhaps most significantly, the agency denied claims that Kim Soo-hyun personally pressured

01:34Kim Sae-ron to repay a 700 million won debt.

01:38According to Gold Medalist, the certified notice demanding repayment was sent by the

01:42company to comply with legal and accounting regulations, and Kim Soo-hyun was never personally

01:49involved in financial matters between Kim Sae-ron and the agency.
