Isu infrastruktur dan peluang kerja terhad selain paras gaji rendah dihadapi anak muda Sabah dijangka mempengaruhi corak pengundian golongan itu pada PRN tahun ini, menurut sebuah NGO.
00:00The issue of infrastructure and job opportunities, in addition to the low wages faced by Sabah youth, is expected to affect the voting standards of the group at the PRN this year, according to an NGO.
00:14Advocacy director and co-founder of Undi 18, Tharmathilai, said that a study on the ground by his colleagues found a group of young voters disappointed because the government and opposition are busy politically compared to the development of the country.
00:32He also said that young people in the country are not so excited to join the PRN, even warning that if the basic issue is not handled seriously, there is a possibility of hundreds of low-voting votes from the group.
00:47However, Tharmathilai said that if the political leaders are able to communicate effectively with young people through a convincing narrative, including a clearer set of rules, in the next few months, it is impossible for them to gain the trust of the voters on the ground.
01:05There are also concerns that Amno Sabah Saleh Syed Kruak has outlined five factors, political cohesion, autonomy, economy, leadership and development, will be evaluated by the voters, whose majority is the top group.
