just got back from Lane's Bakery on Church Street where I went for the first

time. It's been a really long time since I went to a proper bakery and I was

really excited about it. When I got there it seemed like a proper local bakery, it

seemed like a really nice atmosphere, people just chatting across the

counter and I ordered a steak pie and a sausage roll and I thoroughly enjoyed

both of them and the sausage rolls paste was really nice and crispy and the meat

had a nice kind of herb kick, I want to say like rosemary kind of thing and that

was really good. The steak pie looked amazing, kind of like golden brown

pastry and the pastry was nice and thin but it wasn't too soggy from the

sauce inside and then once you tried the steak on the inside it was nice and soft

and it had a really nice rich sauce which I absolutely loved so I cannot

wait to go back already.
