00:00This is deeply personal for me.

00:03For almost seven years, I was imprisoned on fabricated charges,

00:08accused of crimes I did not commit, all because I dared to speak out

00:14against Duterte's drug war.

00:17While I was behind bars,

00:19thousands of Filipinos were killed without justice, their families left to grieve with no answers,

00:26no accountability.

00:29Today,

00:30Mr. Duterte is being made to answer, not to me,

00:34but to the victims, to their families, to a world that refuses to forget.

00:41This is not about vengeance.

00:43This is about justice finally taking its course.

00:48I faced my case,

00:50knowing I was innocent.

00:53I stood before the courts because I had nothing to hide.

00:56Duterte now has to answer for his actions, not in the court of public opinion,

01:03but before the rule of law.

01:06This is how justice should work.

01:09Those in power must be held to the same standards as everyone else.

01:15To those who have fought this long and difficult fight,

01:19your voices mattered, your courage mattered, and

01:23today, the pursuit of justice continues.
