00:14Somehow Walt Disney connects to something inside of us, a kind of childlike wonder and

00:21optimism.

00:23There's so much from this animated movie that we have taken from and used in our own.

00:30A lot of it with the design of the costumes and the designs of the set pieces.

00:34And action.

00:35The first day I was shooting, I was a little nervous because I'm doing something that

00:43is so iconic.

00:44All of a sudden, I'm the evil queen and I get to say that?

00:48Magic mirror on the wall.

00:50Who's the fairest one of all?

00:53We started working on the different looks for the evil queen and the amount of research

00:58that Sandy Powell, our costume designer, showed, it was like magic.

01:05This is based on the original iconic look of the evil queen and I think it's a really

01:08striking look.

01:09Wait, wait, why?

01:10It's a human.

01:14When you think about Snow White, there's so much iconography.

01:17Your bickering won't fix the thing, so whistle while you work.

01:22Its place in history is very specific and incredibly powerful and we wanted to honor

01:26it.

01:30It's an absolutely beautiful homage to a film that continues to mean so much to people.
