00:00First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos introduced Filipinos to the art and skill of filmmakers in making stories.

00:09This was followed by the First Lady's participation in the 2nd Manila International Film Festival

00:15which was held in Hollywood, California.

00:18According to the first lady, the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:24will continue to support Filipino artists in the field of film

00:29and will provide a platform to inspire future generations.

00:34One of the first lady's gifts was the premiere of Faith Healers,

00:39a documentary about Filipino health workers who left the country to fill the medical shortage in the U.S.

00:46First Lady Marcos also thanked the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles

00:52for their warm welcome to the delegation of the Philippines for the MIFF.

00:57Aside from the event, there will also be a chance for the first lady to attend the Meeting of the Minds Forum

01:05where Lara Trump, the daughter-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump, will give a keynote speech.
