00:00There was an opportunity to have a college diploma, students in the college were forced to stop their studies.

00:06That was on the basis of the law passed by President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. last week.

00:13The other activities of the President in the news of the country of Clayzel Pardilla.

00:18President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. passed the Republic Act 12124, a tertiary education equivalency and accreditation program.

00:30This targets to give the opportunity to professional workers to complete their college degree through alternative methods.

00:41This gave the Commission on Higher Education, or CHED, the power as a lead agency to pass the equivalent college degree to working professionals

00:51who do not have to go through the traditional method of study.

00:56It is expected to give career advancement to those who are working and have not yet completed their college degree.

01:05To quench their hunger, President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. called the local governments

01:13to include in their investment plan the programs for health, especially for pregnant women and the first 1,000 days of children.

01:23At the 2024 National Nutrition Awarding Ceremony, the President introduced the 23 local governments

01:31and 5 local nutrition focal points for their efforts to improve nutrition in their communities.

01:39President Marquez Jr. also announced the continued implementation of the No Hunger 2027 food stamp program and expanded 4Ps.
