01:01feel anything? No. I don't see. I have a friend, she's 15 years older than her husband. She

01:08was an air hostess. They have been married for like 35 years. Happily married. Age is

01:14just a number in people's heads who want to make an issue out of it. Dil milne chahiye,

01:20damaag milne chahiye. And you feel that Priyanka has done all the right things ultimately in

01:28her life at the right time. Matlab wrong hua toh usko right kar liya usne. Galti sabse

01:34hoti hai. Robot ya sathna usse bhi hoti hogi. Toh galti hoti bhat uske tha ki correct kar

01:45repeat nahi karegi. That's the most important. She doesn't repeat her mistakes. And are you

01:54happy now where she is? Because ek toh she's also a mother. Did she talk to you about motherhood

02:01before going into it? We had discussions. And you all said to be a grandmother. Oh,

02:08the happiest thing to do. I'm sure. I'm such a happy grandma. She seems such a bundle of joy.

03:15ki you become a strong, independent person going out in the world, deciding for yourself,

03:19having your family, taking calls and everything. Pir hum ghabraate hain kyun jab wo decision

03:25le rahe hain. Agar aapki parvarish sahi hain, toh bachay ka decision haminsha sahi rahega.

03:32There are two major decisions in her life. Ek toh wo Hollywood jaana. Doosri of course

03:42shadi. But Hollywood jaana. How did you? Destiny's child. Destiny's child. Okay. Usko

03:50saamne se aaya offer. Bahut sucha samjha decision tha. Quantico ki baat kariya? Nahi, main music

03:58ke liye. Jab gayi pehliye, toh music ke liye gayi. Yahaan the peak of your career. Phir

04:03wo transition to music. And in another part of the world. Dono bahut hi risky decision

04:10the. But ye hi tha. It's like taking a break. But she's just superbly confident. Usko kuch

04:19ne tha. Quantico may be. We were holidaying. She gave her audition from there on her Zoom.

04:29And she got selected. Yeh maine khud Priyanka se suna hai ki she has, jab wo yahaan se Hollywood

04:38gayi. She had to, matlab yahaan toh peak mein thi. She was already Priyanka Chopra, one

04:43of the top most actresses here. Wo jab Hollywood gayi, she had to introduce herself there.

05:16decision to do right. Haan lekin kyu jaana chahati thi? She felt yahaan peak ho gaya?

05:21Nahi nahi. Aisi koi baat hi. Toh offers aaya tha usko. Wahaan pe, main jaise kehati na,

05:28the first place that she went to, I met that agent later, Troy. He told me, Mama, when

05:40she walks into a room, the molecules in the atmosphere shift. That is the impact she has

05:47when she walks in. Toh asar toh tha hi. It's not just her presence, her persona. And then

05:54people go back and see what she's done. They go back, see performance. And then aisi koi

06:00nobody, so much money doesn't ride on your shoulder unless you have something in you.

06:05So it's not so much her choice as her wanting and their wanting. That's how it was.

06:10Madhu, are you interested at all in politics? Aap, Priyanka?

06:15Very apolitical. I come from a family of politicians, but both of us, apolitical.

06:22Your niece, Parineeti Chopra, she's married a politician.

06:31But she married a wonderful guy, not a politician. When she married him, he was a wonderful person,

06:39who happened to be a politician. Parineeti is another girl from your family.

06:45I think lots of pretty girls in that family. And boys too.

06:50Because Priyanka was the first. Woh Chopra family se pehli ladki thi jo filmon mein aaye.

06:57Chopra bhi, Parineeti bhi aaye, toh were there any, you know, did her father, did anybody

07:04have objections or were they all okay? They were all okay. Because once Priyanka

07:08came in, then it was like a world opening out. So Parineeti's dad is Priyanka's chacha.

07:16That's right. I think they welcomed it. They were very happy for that.

07:21They were all all right about it. Because Parineeti is also a girl jo educated

07:27you know, banker, she could have done anything. But then, I don't know what's that chumbak

07:34for Chopra girls and film industry. But they're both doing good. Very talented.

07:42How do you like Parineeti as an actress? Oh, she's wonderful.

07:46Okay. And she's a very natural performer. Very natural. Yeah. And I think she's a director's

07:58gili matti. They can do what they want with her.
