03:06can get a hand to it but cannot prevent the ball from finding the back of the net

03:14and it's Lukumi with the decisive touch the header at the back post.

03:20Terrific crossing from Vergara who took his time assessed his options

03:28and then found that run of Lukumi in behind the fullback.

03:35And Amelika Dekali have the goal that they will feel they deserve.

04:10This is the goal. Great play by Vergara. The pause as he just waits to see what unfolds ahead of him.

05:38End of the first half. First half which has not gone according to plan at all for the home team.

06:44the veteran centre-forward, as cool as ever to find the finish.

06:50It's the perfect start to the second half. The perfect start for a substitution

07:02as Paiva sets up Bacca to pull them back into the game. As though they're putting that

07:12just off and that is the decision offside. Heartbreak for Junior.

07:20It is not their night so far. A minute into the first half they look as though they've got that

07:28route back into the game and the slimmest of slimmest of slimmest offsides means the scoreline

07:38stays at 2-0.

07:44Back with Chadat. Chadat spots the pass. Bacca's on the move. Bacca

07:49back heel into the path of Paiva. Now they have their goal

07:54and it's Bacca the provider and Paiva the scorer this time.

07:59What an impact he has made off the bench. The Paraguayan is on target. Offside cruelly wiping

08:07out the goal they thought they had back inside the opening minute of the second.

08:12I don't think there's anything VAR will be able to do about this one.

08:17Bacca looked for the back heel a couple of times in the first half. Couldn't find a teammate.

08:23Now he's got a player a bit closer to him and Guillermo Paiva finds the finish to make it 2-1.

10:08And he finds the corner. Finds the net and gets the home team off to the perfect start.

10:16Soto going the right way.

10:21Just not able to get far enough into that corner to deny Gonzalez.

10:29He can beat him and he can and that is emphatic.

10:35Quintero thumps it high into the back of the net and silences Santiago Mele who had plenty to say

10:43to him before he took it.

10:48Teenager. It does. He scores from the spot to make it 2-1.

10:55Again Soto goes close to it but can't keep it out.

10:59I'm sure he'll guard all this afternoon but this time

11:13he keeps his cool to find the net. Makes it 2-2.

11:26It's more or less down the middle as Mele dives to his left.

11:34And it's all square in half. Steven Rodriguez and he finds his effort saved. Jorge Soto's gone close

11:45with the two prior. This time he guesses correctly

11:52and palms it away. Great stop from the keeper.

12:03Next goalkeeper and Soto slams it in. Mele gets something on it. Comes off the underside of the

12:11crossbar. Such was the power on the ball. The momentum takes it over the goal line.

12:21Fingertips crossbar. Crucially net for Jorge Soto. And America Junior stutters

12:31and sends the keeper the wrong way. Cool as you like.

12:34Very, very cool.

12:52Not left after this one. Barrios. Oh and it's saved. Barrios looked for the penenca.

13:02Didn't get much on it and Mele saves with his legs.

13:22Well and it works. You look the coolest man in the stadium when it doesn't.

13:36And his penalty is saved. Two goals in the 90 to get Junior back on level terms and get them

13:45to this point. But Guillermo Paiva goes down the middle. It's red by Soto and his save gives

13:53America De Cali the chance to win it. Just stands his ground. Decides on this occasion

14:08not to gamble. Rafael Carrascal. Scores. Sends the keeper the wrong way. Finds the top corner

14:18and despite the enormous scare that was this second half.

14:25America De Cali are into the Conmebol Sudamericana group phase.

14:35Junior will have to wait another season to go into the Copa Comodos Sudamericana.
