01:00And so transitioning is basically being physically ready for it.

01:07You know, starting to kind of get in shape again.

01:11And whether that's hitting the gym a little bit more,

01:16I'm starting to play basketball a little bit more,

01:18make sure my cardio, it gets back up again.

01:22And yeah, it's always been an interesting balance for me.

01:35sa pagpanaw ng kanyang nakababatang kapatid,

01:38ang rapper na si Aaron Carter.

01:40Nick, you know, it's been over a year since Aaron's passing.

01:44And we would like to know how do you keep his memory alive

01:48and how has this loss changed your outlook in life and family?

01:54You know, anytime anybody, I mean,

01:57we all in our lives lose people that we love.

02:02And that's as we get older, it continues to happen.

02:07And, you know, for me, I still, to this day, am at a loss.

02:16It's very hard for me to process it.

02:23And I don't think that I really have processed it or have understood.

02:31Ngunit hindi lang daw sa isa siya nangungulila.

02:34Mas malalim pa raw ang kanyang paghati,

02:37lalot halos buong pamilya niya, ang wala na ngayon.

02:41I'm still kind of, I guess I can say I'm still in the grieving phase of it.

02:45And still haven't fully grieved with everything that I've gone through.

02:50But in regards to how I take my personal experience in my life with my family,

03:00because it's not even just my brother.

03:02Everybody thinks it's my brother.

03:04You know, I lost my sister BJ.

03:07I've lost my sister Leslie.

03:09I lost Aaron.

03:11You know, my father is almost gone, you know.

03:15And I think that this, you know, a lot of it is contributed to, you know,

03:20this industry that at a young age, at the age of 12 years old,

03:25has affected my life and affected my family, you know.

03:29And so now what I'm doing is I'm concentrating extremely hard on my children,

03:38my wife, my life, and trying to be the best father that I can be.

03:43Try to be the best husband.

03:45And try to do something, make a change, you know.

03:53Give something better for my children that we didn't necessarily have.
