00:00When I came here the first time, I didn't understand that diversity in the city and

00:07how that's the strength of the city.

00:09My name is JR, I'm an artist and I'm here in San Francisco to do a mural that is video.

00:18All those people, their eyes will blink, that ballerina is really dancing.

00:23So you know, it's a living painting.

00:28How does everyone kind of choose how they want to be portrayed?

00:31I'm kind of famous for my sunglasses.

00:33I want to be defending people who need to be defended.

00:42People coming randomly, some that have no idea what the project's about and some that

00:50And it's interesting to see who shows up.
