00:00My birth mom was sick, so she needed someone else to take care of me.

00:29She was homeless on the river, four months pregnant.

00:41We want to try to get her into a recovery program so that we can have a healthy, safe

00:49pregnancy and make sure we have a healthy baby.

00:52Yeah, of course I could have kept it.

00:57But I would have been selfish.

01:00I would have loved to have kept it.

01:05You also need to rest, okay?

01:07I'll be honest with you, you need energy to push the baby.

01:10Nobody can help you with that, only yourself.

01:15And the baby had its first pee, and it peed meth.

01:20My heart just dropped.

01:25I found out I was pregnant with her when I was in high school, so everybody told me,

01:29oh, you're not going to make it, you're not going to finish school, you're not going to

01:32graduate, you know, it was all this, you're not going to, you're not going to, you're

01:35not going to.

01:36And guess what?

01:38I did it.

01:40Pregnant and all.

01:45I just love to be able to help people and not have to turn them in.
