00:00I see that rekindling of the 12 or 13 year old boy before the trauma and I think by being

00:22around these animals and these animals selecting these veterans to care for them, they get

00:27that feeling again of being chosen.

00:32The majority of animals we have are owner relinquishments and they want human contact

00:42so that's part of the reason why we created the Warriors and Wolves program because the

00:48animals want the contact and they benefit from it and the veterans benefit from the

00:52contact so it's a win-win situation.

00:58When you're in a place where you have this feeling and you know that people there want

01:04you dead, it kind of changes you a little.

01:23Two different species, both suffering from traumatic stress, coming together and healing

01:31each other is very unique but when you add the fact that these animals are actually wild

01:38animals, they have the choice to make these relationships and they choose to do it.
