Mark Hinchman came today on Omaha Beach with a picture of his father and twin brother, both part of the first wave on D-Day. Mark’s father died in 1985 and never returned to Normandy, his 41 years old son is here today for the first time.
Overlooking the Beach, stands the American Cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer. Marc came with his wife from Florida to attend the official ceremony but also to meet veterans who might have known his father.
