00:00Some qualified beneficiaries of the Expanded Centenarians Act of 2024 have received the cash gift today.

00:15who also recognizes the great role of the senior citizen in our society.

00:26Yes, Alan, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. is the first in his division of the cash grant for senior citizens.

00:36Of the 14 beneficiaries, 380 and 385-year-olds have received the cash gift.

00:45590-year-olds have received P10,000.

00:49While the 3,100-year-olds have received P10,000.

00:57The government is working hard to recognize the contribution of the elderly

01:01who have become mentors to many on how to live.

01:05That's why the President has given the privileges that senior citizens can get

01:10including discounts on paying for water and electricity,

01:15as well as for medicines and other needs.

01:18Now, the President is determined to do many more things for senior citizens

01:23that the government will support.

01:27Because he is determined that in the new administration, no one will be left behind.

01:32He also encouraged the youth to give respect and care to senior citizens.

01:38Alan, as of today, 1,079 beneficiaries have received the cash gift of P1,050,000.
