Matt Lapinskas, who played Anthony Moon on 'EastEnders' from 2011 until 2012, has revealed the abrupt way he was informed of his exit from the BBC soap.

00:45And she said, yeah, we're letting you go. And I had to go back to her and say, and I

00:53remember telling you.

00:54Literally just in a meeting?

00:55Yeah, just in a meeting.

00:56That's how they do it?

00:57I had like, I had two or three things to do that day as well, so I had to go back down

01:00and talk to her, and I said, mate, I'm going.
