00:00The fire that broke out this evening in a commercial building in Santa Cruz, Manila is still red.

00:08We have live report from Jamie Santos. Jamie?

00:17Atom, the fire is now under control in a house here in Soler Street, Santa Cruz, Manila.

00:25At 7.33 p.m., the BFP received a call that a commercial building in Soler Street and Florentino-Torre Street was on fire.

00:36According to their witnesses, the tenants in the adjacent condominium building were the first to notice the thick smoke

00:43until they saw fire in the house.

00:46Firefighters responded quickly and it only took a few minutes for the first alarm to go off.

00:53At 7.59 p.m., the BFP raised the second alarm.

00:58We saw several firefighters go up to the second floor of the establishment to reach the focal point of the fire.

01:06There were also ambulances in the area.

01:09As of now, the BFP is conducting a mapping-up operation. According to the BFP...

01:18Until now, our fellow firefighters are still appalling.

01:22We still don't have a fire under control because of the amount of stock in one unit.

01:31Many of the units are affected.

01:36We need to use breathing apparatus.

01:46According to the BFP, two units and three floors are the most affected by the fire.

01:52It was also difficult to detect the thick smoke due to the high stock of goods there.

01:59According to the BFP, the cost of the unit is less than P3.5 million.

02:05No one was affected by the fire.
