Hope Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta maintains dignity of post: Tejashwi Yadav

RJD's Tejashwi Yadav has voiced his opinion on Rekha Gupta's appointment as Delhi's Chief Minister.

00:00RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, who's been former deputy CM of Bihar, has something to say to

00:06Rekha Gupta, who's now Delhi Chief Minister.

00:09Tejashwi Yadav says, and I quote him here first, the post of a chief minister is a responsible

00:13and a dignified position.

00:15Hope Rekha ji will maintain the dignity of that post.

00:18He's also an India bloc partner, remember.

00:21And Tejashwi Yadav here referring to some of the old posts, social media statements

00:26that have emerged, to which Rekha Gupta hasn't said a lot, but it does appear that that's

00:31one of the comments that he's hinting at.

00:34Let's listen into what Tejashwi Yadav said.

00:37But remember, this is in addition, one of the first leaders beyond the Congress party,

00:41while many are congratulating the fourth woman chief minister of Delhi, but they're also

00:48saying, and this time Tejashwi Yadav saying, it's a dignified position, it's a responsible

00:52position, and therefore maintain the dignity of that post.

00:55Some of these social media posts, allegedly, that appears to be of Rekha Gupta, are being

01:00circulated by the opposition leader, saying that these are inappropriate words being used

01:06to target Arvind Kejriwal.

01:42Rohit, why precisely such a comment?

01:44It seems that there is some sort of sarcasm in it, some sort of a hidden meaning.

01:50What do we make of what Tejashwi is saying?

01:53Well, yes, there is absolute sarcasm in the comments that has been made by Tejashwi Yadav,

02:01also taking a jibe at the new Delhi chief minister, Rekha Gupta, over the social media

02:08videos that have gone viral in the last couple of days, where Rekha Gupta, when she was in

02:13the MCD, where she is seen protesting in some sort of a violent manner, and breaking mics

02:21inside the MCD.

02:22So, those are the visuals which have gone viral, and now Tejashwi Yadav is banking on

02:27those social media videos to target the new Delhi chief minister, and says that everyone

02:34has seen what her past has been.

02:37And so they believe that the post of the chief minister was full of dignity, but now he's

02:43taking a jibe at Rekha Gupta, for now that once she was in the MCD, and she was doing

02:50all kinds of violent protests, and now she has become the chief minister of Delhi.

02:54So, Tejashwi Yadav is definitely taking pot shots at Rekha Gupta, and also claiming that...

02:59Well, that's expected as well, because now of course she's in prominence.

03:02Yes, she's the chief minister of Delhi.
