00:00Hi Sadler's fans. I spoke to Matt Sadler earlier today to get the very latest on Josh Gordon and his injury situation.
00:11And the Walsall boss has confirmed that the striker will miss the next two months with another hamstring injury.
00:19He went down in the 55th minute during Walsall's 1-1 draw against Gillingham at Bescott last Tuesday and was unable to play any further part.
00:30He then went for a scan later in the week and when I caught up with Sadler after the 3-1 win against Chesterfield on Saturday,
00:41he said that the scan results kind of indicated, suggested that he could be poised for another lengthy spout on the sidelines.
00:51And after seeing a consultant earlier this week, that has very much turned out to be the case.
00:58Been a season blighted by injuries for Gordon since he rejoined the club permanently on a two-year deal last summer.
01:08Restricted to just 11 appearances, scoring two goals and obviously missed four months with another hamstring problem in August
01:19when he was forced off in the 2-1 win against Cheltenham Town on August 31st and then required surgery.
01:28It won't require surgery this time around and Sadler said that although it's the same leg, it's a different part of the hamstring.
01:37And he will be targeting a return for the penultimate game against Accrington Stanley at Bescott on April 26th
01:45but he was also unable to guarantee whether he will feature between now and the end of the season.
