00:12House Speaker Martin Romualdez led the celebration of the 46th founding anniversary of the province of Aurora

00:19and the 137th birth anniversary of former First Lady Aurora Aragon Quezon.

00:25In his message, Romualdez challenged local officials to lead with compassion,

00:30dignity, and give one's life for others, just like the former First Lady.

00:36Being an Aurora is not just about being born here in the province.

00:42It is about carrying values.

00:45Sipag, saga, malasakit.

00:50Bayanihan is about working hard,

00:53trusting one another, and lifting each other up.

00:58Aurora has given so much to the country,

01:01its natural resources, its cultures, its heroes,

01:06and today I say to you, Aurora deserves more from the Philippines.

01:13This year, Aurora Day celebration was colorful with the launch of Pasidayo Festival.

01:18Among the activities that took place include surfing challenge,

01:22skateboarding competition, Pista ng Kalabaw, and Binibining Aurora.
