00:00Where do you get so much clarity from?

00:02You just look at life, how things are, and you ask yourself,

00:06is this how the world can possibly and potentially be?

00:10Are people happy and alright?

00:12Why is there so much conflict? Why is there so much misery?

00:15Can not there be beauty in existence?

00:17Similar questions you pose to yourself.

00:19Is there beauty within? Is there truth within?

00:21Am I deceiving myself?

00:23So one has to begin with self-inquiry.

00:25One has to be conscious of what is going on externally, internally,

00:29and how the two are related.

00:31So then one reads, or one meets, or one watches.

00:33One feels like asking those who have probably asked a similar question in the past.

00:41So these two things, when they happen together or in tandem, one takes flight.

00:46You can call them as the two wings of the bird.

00:49Observation of the world, including the observation of the self,

00:52and honest study of, dedicated study of, wisdom texts.

00:57If these two are together, things just happen.
