00:14In order to limit the sufficient supply and affordable supply of electricity,
00:19President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has signed Executive Order No. 83.
00:25It regulates the reduction of electricity bills in the facilities of independent power producers
00:34that have an agreement with the government under the Build-Operate-Transfer Scheme.
00:40This will keep the operation of power generation facilities,
00:44prevent the closure of plants that provide 3,100 megawatts of electricity,
00:52and increase the price of electricity or rotating brownouts if the operation will stop or close.
