The Original Nes Version of Dragon Warrior 2 (Dragon Quest 2) Was quite a revolutionary Game for it's time when the localized English Version of this came out in 1990,as it was one of the first few NES Games during the 8-bit Era to feature a playable Female Princess Character who wasn't a "Damsel in Distress",the other 3 nes games being Princess Peach Toadstool in Super Mario Bros 2: Doki Doki Panic and The Female character Miria/Alyssa from the Guardian Legend and Moby from Wurm: Journey to the center of the Earth.
Funny enough,the original Japanese Version of Dragon Warrior 2 (Dragon Quest II) came out in 1987,around the same time as Phantasy Star 1 for the Sega Master System (Another game featuring a Lead Female Character:P)

While a revolutionary gem for it's time,the Original Nes Version of Dragon Warrior 2 was also notorious for it's Unblanced Brutal Difficulty Spike Curve during the later Half of the game,especially that God awful "Cave of Rhone" Dungeon with all the invisible Pitfalls,this issue was later fixed with both the Super Famicom and Game Boy Color Remakes which better balance out the brutal difficulty and make it more fair.
While Dragon Warrior 3 and Dragon Warrior 4 were easially the better gems and dethrone this game by a longshot for many good reasons,but Dragon Warrior 2 was quite impressive for it's time which Princess of Moonbrooke was the best character in this game,which just like with Veronica from Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Exclusive age,which has the best access to the best magic spells.lol3
and as you can probully tell,i've been replaying the game boy color version of "Dragon Quest 2/Dragon Warrior 2" Overgrinding Princess of Moonbrooke to LV 19 to get her Kaboom Spell,which is an absolute must requirement if you want to have any hope of surviving any of these Tedious dungeons in this game,which like with alot of 8bit RPGs at the time,this game commits one of the 7 deadly sins that should never Pleauge Modern RPGS!......
Limited MP Usage with no way to restore MP Magic,except Inns + Rediculous High Encounter Rates!!!!
Trust me on This!.....don't even bother attempting any of these dungeons untile you get Princess of Moonbrooke overgrinded to LV19 or Higher very early on in the game hunting "Metal Slimes",You'll never Make it or survive any of these floors in any of those dungeons!
When Square Enix recently also announced New HD 2D Remakes of Dragon Warriors 1 and 2 to come out later this year,this Inspired me to make a Custom Collage Wallpaper dedicated to Princess of Moonbrooke:P
