00:10Vatican said Francis' respiratory infection also involved asthmatic

00:14bronchitis which requires the use of cortisone antibiotic treatment. Francis

00:20has been suffering from a respiratory infection for more than a week and was

00:24admitted to Gemelli Hospital in Rome, Italy on February 14th. The Vatican also

00:30declared that laboratory tests, chest x-ray and the Holy Father's clinical

00:35condition continue to present a complex picture. The Pope, however, is in good

00:40spirits. A Vatican official noted that the Pontiff had not been put on a

00:44ventilator and was breathing on his own. It was also announced that all public

00:49events on Pope's calendar had been cancelled through Sunday.
