00:00It can be argued that the Commission on Elections

00:02had a data breach in their system.

00:05According to Commonwealth Spokesperson John Rex Laudianco,

00:08the Commonwealth Cyber Security Division immediately conducted an investigation

00:12following a post on social media

00:14that said that there was a compromise in the data,

00:16particularly in the overseas voting documents.

00:19Paul Boddy said that their government agencies

00:23such as the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center of the DICT

00:27and based on the results of the initial investigation,

00:30what they claim to be a breach

00:32is the data from the 2013 election year registration cycle

00:36and has nothing to do with the 2025 midterm and parliamentary elections

00:41where all the documents are public.

00:45According to Paul Boddy, they are seriously monitoring their cyber security.

00:50In fact, they are being formed by the internationally trained and certified

00:54that's why their cyber security division will stop hacking.

00:58Aside from this, all the Commonwealth servers,

01:00including the servers and data centers of the 2025 midterm elections

01:04are not connected to the internet

01:06and there are gap measures being implemented as standard security measures.
