00:00The Combined Arm Training Exercise, or CATEX-KATIHAN, of the Philippine Army has already started,

00:08which will last until March 22.

00:10The exercise has been extended to Visayas and Mindanao.

00:21Aljo, the Combined Arm Training Exercise, or CATEX-KATIHAN, of the Philippine Army has already started.

00:27This will last until March 22, where the exercise was extended to Visayas and Mindanao.

00:35According to Philippine Army Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Roy Galido,

00:40this will simulate the mobilization of all units of the Army across the country

00:45in the concept of Command and Control.

00:47The Taipun Missile System of the United States will be part of the exercise,

00:52especially after the CATEX-KATIHAN, followed by the BALI-KATA.

00:56There will be no live fire, and it will only be in the center of the orientation.

01:01For us, we're in the level of appreciating the system

01:05and being able to understand how to utilize it in our defense concept.

01:10Part of the exercise is the Philippine's plan to repel the Taipun Missile System of the United States.

01:17It is in front of the ongoing maintenance of the military equipment in the country

01:22since last year.

01:24It was first used by those who are trained in the BALI-KATA and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

01:32This is when we rehearse on how it's going to be used and its functionality.

01:38This is part of it, whenever we have exercises that take place with the United States.

01:44Before this, the National Security Council also defended the maintenance of the Taipun Missile System in the country

01:51and insisted that it should not be removed from the left wing of China.
