00:00Persons deprived of liberty in a jail facility in Mountain Province

00:05have received help from the DSWD.

00:08Under the Sustainable Livelihood Program,

00:11PDLs are able to help those who earn even inside the facility.

00:17Valerie Jane Tunggub Taguba, PIA Cordillera, has news for the country.

00:23The government continues to help persons deprived of liberty or PDLs

00:29who are in correctional facilities.

00:31In order to help PDLs in the Mountain Province District Jail

00:35to earn a living even inside the facility,

00:39they were provided with livelihood assistance.

00:42Under the Sustainable Livelihood Program of the DSWD,

00:46PDL Survivors Organization received printing equipment

00:50for their printing services.

01:07The program is very significant to each and every one of us.

01:12This is an extraordinary program of the government.

01:16This program is very good.

01:19There is a government that works.

01:21The livelihood project was funded by P450,000.

01:26The DSWD is expected to provide additional support

01:30within five years to sustain the program.

01:34I can't explain, but it's up to God to help them

01:39because of their kindness.

01:41Even though we are inside, they did not abandon us.

01:45Thank you very much to them.

01:47They are now accepting orders for the printing of T-shirts,

01:51tarpaulins, customized mugs, and other printing services.
