With a state election fast approaching, the housing crisis is weighing heavy on the minds of voters in these areas. In the south, short-term accommodation and a lack of affordable new builds is squeezing locals out of the rental market. While in the north, Indigenous communities are living in over-crowded and run-down social housing.
