00:00My name is Noura Sultan Farhan Mubarak. I'm 74 years old. I was born in this blessed country.

00:16The first thing we did when we lost our sight, when we knew what was right and what was wrong,

00:21when we knew what was right and what was wrong, was volunteering.

00:24We started studying when we were volunteering.

00:26When we first started going to school, we would read the Holy Quran,

00:29we would recite the Quran, and we would learn about prayer and fasting.

00:33We would learn about religious things.

00:35Today, we are following the national day because we are adults, God bless us.

00:39We are always proud of the national day.

00:43We participate in the school, we participate in the school's students, in the celebrations.

00:49I personally participate in the girls' training for the national day celebrations.

00:54In the village of Al-Tirath, I was a participant.

00:57On any occasion in the village of Al-Tirath, I participated.

01:01In the village of Al-Tirath, I was a religious teacher, a teacher of the Quran.

01:09All the girls and boys would memorize the Quran.

01:32I would teach them how to make tea, how to make incense, and how to make Arabic perfume.

01:39We would do all of this to participate in the festivals.

01:43In the village of Al-Tirath, we would go around the village.

01:51They would put incense in the village.

01:57This is the place where the most important thing is to build a house.

02:03They would put the Holy Quran on it.

02:05When the child starts reading it, they would teach him the Holy Quran.

02:10Until he finishes reading it.

02:12In the village of Al-Tirath, they would always ask us to renovate the village.

02:19They would ask us to renovate all of the traditional things.

02:21We teach them how to make tea, how to make incense, and how to make Arabic perfume.

02:28The Ministry of Education is not short of students.

02:31They are very good at these things.

02:33God willing, they will be in the state soon.

02:37From the religious schools, to the public gatherings, to the traditional areas.

02:44We provide everything for them so that they can practice their traditional skills.
