00:00It's 7 a.m. in the morning and it's really cold, I'm shivering.

00:14I've been here in the UAE for like more than 15 years and UAE is known for the hot weather,

00:20but believe me, winter in the UAE is a different story.

00:25The UAE launched the world's coolest winter.

00:27It is a strategy that is promoting tourism and highlight landmarks and attractions in

00:33the UAE.

00:34We are in Wadi al-Wurayya National Park.

00:37It is one of the hidden gems in Fujairah.

00:39Wadi al-Wurayya, the first mountain protected area, it was established in 2009 with a local

00:45decree from His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed al-Sharqi, a member of the Supreme

00:50Council, ruler of Fujairah.

00:53Under this, he protected 220 square kilometers of al-Hajar mountain, in which we have more

01:00than 860 species of plants and animals, including the Arabian tahir, which is the biggest mammal

01:07in the area, but unfortunately now it's extinct in the wild, so we have a project for the

01:13breeding and reintroduction of this animal, inshallah, in the future.

01:17We have more than 200 plant species.

01:20We have the wild orchid here in Wadi al-Wurayya.

01:24We have the war'a, which is actually where Wadi al-Wurayya got its name, which is a very

01:30famous plant in the heritage of UAE.

01:34We have seven different wadis in Wadi al-Wurayya.

01:37The most famous one is Wadi al-Wurayya, which has the war'a plant.

01:42We have seven different wadis with a catchment spacing of 127 square kilometers.

01:49All the water from here comes to one area, which is a dam, at the beginning of the park.

02:01Fujairah is known for its rich history, and the best way to discover about the city's

02:05history is by visiting the museum.

02:08We are now at Fujairah Museum.

02:19The museum is owned by Sheikh Hamad bin Hamad Al-Sharqi, the governor of Fujairah.

02:23This museum is divided into four rooms, two floors, and one floor.

02:26The first floor includes five entrances, which are located in Fujairah.

02:32It is one of the oldest entrances that talk about the history of UAE.

02:36There is also a tile, which is a symbol of the civilization at that time, in the 1st

02:43century BC.

02:44It is a two-legged animal, each animal is opposite to the other, the upper part is gold,

02:54and the lower part is silver.

02:56Each tourist comes here to learn about the history of the area, and of course, he enters

03:02the museum to learn about the history of the UAE and when it was founded.

03:09When you are coming to Fujairah, one of the best destinations to come is Fujairah Fort.

03:24In 1925, the British Navy destroyed three of the fort's towers, which led to complete

03:31abandonment.

03:32It remained untouched until 1997, when the Emirates Authority began its restoration.

03:39The fort was built between the period of 500 to 550 AD.

03:48We did the maintenance between 1998 until 2000.

03:54The materials that we used to build the fort, we used the mud, the stones, all the locals

04:02and the old materials.

04:03We did not use any new things to keep the original site and the picture of the place.

04:20If you're talking about diving sites in the UAE, Fujairah has a lot to offer.

04:23From deep diving to shallow diving, it's all you can find in Fujairah.

04:27So, let's dive in!
