00:00Welcome to Mojo Plays, and today we're looking at the 10 weirdest unlockables in The Legend

00:11of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

00:14Just like in Breath of the Wild, the 2023 sequel has its fair share of wacky items for

00:18Link to obtain throughout his adventure in Hyrule and beyond.

00:37Bokoblin Arm

00:45First appearing in Breath of the Wild, the skeletal arm of one of the most common enemies

00:49in either game returns, and with a new fusion mechanic, is sillier than ever.

00:55Equipping with 20 base power, the Undead Stalkoblin variant has a 100% drop rate, making this

01:01a handy early game weapon.

01:04Doing its best idle hands impression, the Bokoblin Arm has a mind of its own as it twiddles

01:09its fingers and moves around while Link wields it.

01:12For some added fun, fuse one arm to a shield and equip the other as normal to essentially

01:18dual wield them.

01:27Depths Armor Set

01:35A set of armor brand new to Tears of the Kingdom, the Depths set helps Link resist the new Gloom

01:40status effect that plagues Hyrule and, you guessed it, the Depths.

01:45Very useful towards later parts of the game, the armor set gives Link an eerie, almost

01:50Grim Reaper-like appearance, paired beautifully with a fusion-made scythe.

01:55You can only find this in Hyrule's Depths, and we highly recommend you do so if you want

02:00to stand a chance against Ganondorf later on.

02:09Tingle's Outfit

02:17This goofy garb makes its return from Breath of the Wild, where it was only unlockable

02:21by completing the EX Treasure, Fairy Clothes side quest in the Master Trials DLC.

02:27This time around, it's much easier to get.

02:30Simply complete Misko's Cave of Chess questline in Eldin Canyon and track them down in caves

02:35scattered around Hyrule.

02:37It isn't the strongest armor, and all it really does is speed Link up at night, but it is

02:42so funny to throw these tights on and fly around, taking out Gleeoks and Lynels in style.

02:55Horroblin Mask

03:01Another piece of gear new to Tears of the Kingdom, the Horroblin Mask lets Link take

03:06on the visage of the wall-crawling, cave-dwelling Horroblin.

03:09You can trade Babul Gems for the Mask with Colton at the Fang and Bone Shop, and use

03:14it to blend with the enemies in order to sneak past them.

03:17Its big, giant honker and cunning grin give you a unique, albeit creepy appearance, and

03:23is a great tool for those looking to just clear out caves without conflict.

03:34Rocket Shield

03:36For this and the next entry, we're bending the rules a bit, as fun and creative fusions

03:40could fill their own video, but we just couldn't resist.

03:44To use it, simply fuse a Zonai Rocket to any shield, and congratulations, you've officially

03:50joined the Hyrule Space Program.

03:52As the name implies, activating the Rocket Shield will send Link soaring, making it a

03:57vital tool for climbing cliffs, evading enemies, and even outright skipping many shrine puzzles.

04:03The Rocket will go away after a single use, so be prepared.

04:08Cannon Club

04:19Once again, simply fusing a Zonai Cannon to any melee weapon will unlock the Cannon

04:24Club, allowing you to deal tons of damage from afar, turning Link into a one-man tank

04:30on the battlefield.

04:31Not only is this a great tool in combat, by being able to take out groups of weaker enemies

04:36in no time flat, but it's also great for exploration.

04:40Clearing out bombable walls and caves is extremely useful.

04:50Monster Soup

04:51Yeah, Monster Soup, gross, we know.

05:04But what if we told you this is actually useful?

05:07By cooking Monster Extract, Tabantha Wheat, Fresh Milk, and Goat Butter in a cooking pot,

05:13the results are a dish that heals Link for a random amount of time.

05:17Be sure to add some extra ingredients for added effects to make energizing Monster Soup

05:21or spicy Monster Soup.

05:23The possibilities are endless, but likely taste awful.

05:32Frozen Food

05:33FDA compliance aside, the Frozen Food option in Tears of the Kingdom does actually have

05:48its practical applications.

05:50By dropping raw meat in cold climates like the Gerudo Highlands, it'll freeze, becoming

05:55the rock-hard variant of whatever meat you choose.

05:59Not only does Frozen Food recover some hearts, but it'll give you heat resistance, useful

06:04in hotter areas like Death Mountain.

06:06While this is obviously not a practical healing option compared to if you were to cook the

06:10meat, having heat resistance is a big advantage if you don't have the appropriate gear.

06:23Testu's Gift

06:30We considered leaving this off the list because of how obvious it is, but not only is it one

06:35of the weirdest unlockables in Tears of the Kingdom, it's also one of the weirdest unlockables

06:40in any game, period.

06:41The fact that you have to collect all 1,000, yes, 1,000 Korok Seeds to unlock this literal

06:48golden turd is a slap in the face to completionists.

06:52Granted, along the way you'll eventually unlock extremely useful inventory slot upgrades,

06:57but the juice is hardly worth the squeeze.

07:00Or in this case, the turd isn't worth the push.

07:09CC Hat

07:18In a similar vein to Hestu's Gift, the CC Hat is another useless item unlocked by completing

07:23a long side quest found in Hateno Village.

07:27And like Hestu's Gift, its uselessness is made up for in other ways, like being able

07:31to buy back previously sold or lost pieces of armor upon completion of the Mayoral Election

07:37side quest.

07:38Wearing this regal headdress will have townspeople gawking at you, making Link the most fashionable

07:43lad in all the land.
