00:29friends. Sushant Singh Rajput's death has triggered a debate on mental health. The actor who hung

00:36himself off the ceiling at his home has triggered and reignited the debate about the importance of

00:42mental health and actress Kangana Ranaut also called out all these forces, dark forces in

00:49Bollywood who are very clannish. Sushant Singh Rajput was an outsider. So, Ranaut has been

00:55asking who are these people who are showing fake sympathy? Now, where were they when he was alive

01:01and why weren't his movies celebrated? Why was a mediocre film like Gully Boy celebrated but a

01:07movie like Chichore did not garner any awards? Kangana Ranaut, who first called out Karan Johar

01:12for being the flag bearer for nepotism in 2017, managed to raise heckles today as well. She spoke

01:19about how hostile Bollywood is to outsiders. Without naming anybody in particular, she has

01:26been blasting all those makers and shakers of Bollywood who are the architects of several

01:31Bollywood careers of industry kids. Ranaut also pointed out that the actor's self-worth was

01:36questioned by such hostile forces. While Sushant Singh's sudden demise, often called a very promising

01:43actor, has shocked Bollywood, there's also a faction of people who believe that he was not

01:48given an adequate opportunity or chance by those around him. While Kangana Ranaut was very specific

01:55about calling out and blasting Bollywood for its selective meritocracy, what we have is also a

02:02section and a cross-section of social media users criticizing Karan Johar for his fake show of

02:09sympathy. The dominant narrative is that Karan Johar, a producer for Sushant Singh Rajput's

02:16movie Drive, was not on greatest terms with him nor was he very friendly during his interactions

02:21with the star. There was also directors like Anubhav Sinha and director Shekhar Kapoor who said

02:30that Bollywood is a very shallow place and that there were several times when Sushant Singh Rajput

02:36used to cry on Shekhar Kapoor's shoulders and that karma would finally get into those who hurt him.

02:42While Sushant Singh Rajput, who has acted in at least a dozen films, has made his mark through

02:47films, I think it's his passing that has made the most impact. Here is hoping that his legacy lives

02:53on forever.
