00:05featuring today's business briefing.

00:07Good morning Jen, I believe you've got some news for the cider drinkers today.

00:16I do indeed. The Somerton-based craft cider maker, Pulped, has expanded its production

00:21to supply pubs, bars and retail following a cash injection.

00:25Stephen, would you be a fan of cider yourself?

00:27I like a nice cider on a warm day.

00:30As do I. Pulped produces a range of what are described as eye-catching cider brands that

00:36appeal to Gen Z customers nationwide and it has listings at Ocado and Tesco.

00:41The company prides itself on using only freshly pressed apples from across Somerset and Devon

00:46and the business has now received a £35,000 cash injection from the South West Investment

00:52Fund via Swig Finance.

00:55Up in Lancashire we've got news that a historic hotel, restaurant and bar has been acquired

01:00by the family behind a well-known engineering business.

01:04The Shard Riverside Inn has been bought by the Taziker family.

01:07The 23-bedroom hotel, bar and restaurant is located near Portland-on-the-Fylde in the

01:11village of Hambledon.

01:12The building itself dates back to 1766, it was named after the nearby Shard Bridge and

01:18was originally built as a firm's cottage called Shard House.

01:22In Victorian times, the Black Beauty author Anna Sewell used to visit her relatives at

01:27the property, so an interesting history behind that particular building.

01:31The Taziker business was established as a commercial painting company before going on

01:36to evolve into a multi-discipline engineering firm.

01:40The deal for the hotel was led by Nigel Taziker alongside his father Tom and the family has

01:45announced a programme of investment in the property with the aim of bringing it back

01:49to where it used to be.

01:52Great, well moving over to some deals news then, the hospitality accountancy firm Paperchase

01:59Accountancy has secured a minority growth investment from BGF.

02:03The company was founded over 30 years ago and supports restaurants, bars, pubs and other

02:08hospitality brands looking for financial management.

02:12The company has a client base that collectively holds more than 20 Michelin stars and some

02:17of its customers include the likes of Zuma, Dishoom and Five Guys, so some big names there.

02:24The company employs more than 1,200 people and has 3,000 hospitality locations around

02:28the world and has plans to continue its global expansion over the next few years.

02:34The company's chief executive said that the investment will accelerate its growth plans

02:38and allow it to continue delivering its services to clients globally.

02:43While sticking with accountancy, in Sheffield we have the news that BHP has announced plans

02:47to relocate its 190-strong team in the city.

02:50The firm is currently based at three buildings on Clark House Road but will now bring its

02:55team together under one roof at Albert Works in the city centre.

02:58It marks a fairly significant step for the firm which was founded in Sheffield in 1867

03:05and has been based at its current office near the Botanical Gardens for more than 50 years.

03:09The new office was once a company works and was most recently home to data science and

03:12marketing business J-Wing.

03:14It was also a previous winner at Insider's Yorkshire Property Awards a few years ago.

03:18Alongside BHP, staff from the firm's Translink Corporate Finance team will also be based

03:22at the new office.

03:23The firm said the move would support its ambitions and provide space for growth.

03:28Brilliant.
