Happy 48th National Day. I wish UAE will always have more and more success and always breaking
00:11
the world's records in almost everything.
00:14
Happy UAE National Day.
00:18
Happy National Day to all the residents of the United Arab Emirates.
00:23
I wish all the Emiratis and the expats happy UAE National Day.
00:28
On this day, let us together pray, may our nation shine always. Happy National Day.
00:37
Amazing.
00:38
Progressive.
00:40
Remarkable.
00:41
Safest.
00:42
Home.
00:43
Genius.
00:45
Dream.
00:46
Progress.
00:47
It's entrepreneurial.
00:49
World-class.
00:50
Vibrant.
00:52
Dynamic.
00:53
Futuristic.
00:58
Having lived here for 10 years, it's become a home away from home.
01:02
Especially as a teacher, I've had an amazing time in the UAE so far.
01:08
The country itself is just, it's an incredible role model of how progressive a country can be
01:14
with the correct leadership and vision.
01:16
What they've done in 48 years is very, very admirable and I'm lucky to have, you know,
01:21
played a small part in it and teaching in some of the schools over here.
01:24
Right now, UAE has been one of the fast-growing countries in the world in terms of technology
01:31
and economic development and also the amount of tourists that has been coming in UAE has
01:38
been increasing year to year.
01:41
I moved to UAE because I think it is the only country in the world that you feel like as
01:46
if you are home.
01:48
You have all your lights that are all beside you and even it has all the facilities.
01:54
And in addition, the smart system that they have and even the love of the leaders to the
02:00
people, to the old people, to the local and the love of the leaders to the expat.
02:04
So I have seen the rapid and tremendous development from the time I got here and now.
02:10
That's 75 years later.
02:12
And so in Dubai, that's from three malls to more than 60 now.
02:17
And from an empty Sheikh Zayed Road to this busy and bustling home of the most number
02:25
of skyscrapers in Dubai.
02:27
Well, I was born here.
02:29
I lived all of my life in UAE.
02:31
And it's amazing to live here.
02:33
It's amazing to see the country grow very, very fast and in a very impressive way.
02:39
The skyscrapers, the malls, the hotels and all these tallest, biggest, all of these world
02:45
record buildings and infrastructure.
02:49
UAE means to me my home and it's everybody's dream to live in this country.
02:55
I am an Emirati woman who is totally proud of being part of this country.
03:02
And I can assure my rulers, because they have invested in me so much, that I will be
03:09
an integral part of UAE's success.
03:12
So I was born in the city of Al Ain 24 years ago.
03:16
My parents have been here for even longer.
03:19
My father particularly continues to serve in the UAE Armed Forces for over 40 years.
03:25
And my mother has been a teacher in the UAE for over 25.
03:31
So the UAE really is home to me and to the family as a whole.
03:35
UAE is home to me because it's where your heart is, where you feel safe, secure and loved.
03:41
It has changed a lot, because where things used to be really simple before, now you have
03:46
a variety of options, which really has helped my career.
03:50
Before, it was really about what other people wanted, but now it's simply about what inspires you,
03:57
what drives you, and that translates into what the UAE is about.
04:01
It's about making you feel comfortable, making you feel at home,
04:04
and making sure that your needs are catered to.
04:07
I love to live here, because Dubai is a safe country.
04:12
And UAE people are very good and very humble.
04:18
And they are very helpful.
04:21
As we grow up here in the United Arab Emirates, this country gives us a lot,
04:26
and a lot as experience, as we, you know, the couple of schools and hospitals.
04:34
If we talk generally about the United Arab Emirates, it's an open world.
04:39
Like you can see, it's for the multi-nationality, you can grow up here.
04:43
Anyone can come from out of the country, it's most welcome in this country,
04:47
as you can find more nationalities who are staying in the United Arab Emirates.
04:56
It is the safest, and the UAE rulers are amazing.
04:59
Their vision, their leadership has given everything to us.
05:03
And the cosmopolitan culture here, people are very friendly.
05:07
We live together, all nationalities live together, it looks like more than my home.
05:11
It's a very alive city, whatever time of the day or night you come,
05:15
it's always buzzing, it's electric, there are a lot of lights.
05:20
So, you know, it's always a very happy, upbeat atmosphere.
05:24
And I would also say that it's a city, or it's a country, that keeps evolving with time.
05:31
It's a melting pot of the old tradition, along with modernization.
05:38
It's a multicultural city, so it's very dynamic.
05:43
No two days, I would say, would be the same in a country like the UAE.
05:49
UAE knows what to exactly invest in, and that's why I call UAE a genius.
05:54
They know where to use, so they have oil, but you will run out of oil one day.
06:00
But when you know what to use that in, invest in this beautiful architecture,
06:05
and all the greeneries and everything, transforming the desert into the paradise we have right now,
06:10
that is genius.
06:12
I think just the UAE is remarkable, because if you look back at the country,
06:16
even since the early noughties to now, what they've done in the last 20 years
06:20
has probably unrivaled on a global scale.
06:24
So it's a fast-paced, vibrant country and economy,
06:28
and it's a pleasure to live here and be involved in it.
06:31
UAE, as it is now, owes it to the visionary and strong world leadership.
06:35
UAE's pioneering developments caught world attention.
06:39
It has also become a globally prominent financial and economic center.
06:44
Well, you just have to look at its history.
06:47
In just under 48 years, it's gone from a desert into what it is now,
06:53
where it's known globally.
06:56
So what I see in the UAE, in terms of progress,
07:00
is there's great health care, great education.
07:03
A lot more people have come to the UAE since it first became united.
07:09
It continues to attract talent.
07:12
It offers so much for people who are on the cutting edge of technology in the world.
07:18
So really, in many ways, UAE signifies progress for me.
07:23
World-class, because it is five-star hotels,
07:26
and it's a beautiful place to live, a beautiful place to visit.
07:31
I like working here and living in UAE,
07:35
because it has opened more doors for me.
07:40
More opportunities are open here,
07:43
and the people that you meet,
07:46
although we are diverse and different in terms of culture and beliefs,
07:53
everyone is very respectful to one another.
07:58
UAE has provided women with lots of opportunities nowadays.
08:03
Women are empowered.
08:05
Women are able to participate in all activities nowadays.
08:13
You can see women working in all sectors.
08:16
I believe UAE is a safe country.
08:19
It's sunny.
08:21
It has lots of facilities which everybody in the country would like to see and experience.
08:29
Maybe our culture as well.
08:31
It's unique, I would say.
08:32
UAE, we keep on building and building, and we are non-stop.
08:37
And we keep the country for the new generation
08:41
who come to teach our children how to live in this country.
08:48
The education level in this country is at par with the American and European market.
08:53
So if my children study here, they will get the same opportunity in the world
08:58
as if they study in America or England or anywhere.
09:01
So the Museum of the Future itself is a great example of how
09:04
the UAE has taken into account and taken inspiration
09:07
from modern societies and progress societies,
09:10
but still managed to keep its culture, its religion, and its traditions in place.
09:14
You can see the Arabic calligraphy beautifully placed all over it.
09:18
And within it, you can see that there's a shared sense of philosophy,
09:22
art, tradition, that people from all over the world are welcome to come,
09:26
feel, experience, and see.
09:29
And that really ties together the UAE.
09:32
UAE is definitely going to keep growing and growing.
09:35
People usually think of UAE as a country that depends on oil.
09:39
They have a lot of oil.
09:40
But you can see UAE transforming into a tourism hub.
09:43
So people come to UAE from all around the world
09:46
just to see all this beautiful architecture that we have here, infrastructure.
09:54
It's amazing to be part of UAE, to live here.
09:59
I love to live in the UAE because this is my second home now.
10:03
I've been here 25 years.
10:05
I have developed friends.
10:07
My family is here, owing to the excellent leadership.
10:11
The vision on where the future is going to hold.
10:15
First, also cleanliness, safe, economic, social stability, and also security.
10:22
I admire the leadership of the country, especially the vision.
10:26
They look far ahead.
10:28
They're very forward.
10:29
They have brought a dot and an icon in the global world.
10:37
So yes, I think this country and the leadership has taught us of dreaming big.
10:43
In terms of the people, I think they're very, very warm-hearted people.
10:48
In spite of Dubai transitioning from the traditional old cultural place to a very modernistic place,
10:57
it has not changed the people.
10:59
The people are still warm, very accommodating, and that's what I like about them.
11:03
The good thing in UAE is that the leaders and the people here, they follow the latest technology and the latest system.
11:13
This fast progress and the growing of this country, expanding, connecting between metros,
11:20
and now they're doing the metro that connects all UAE together.
11:23
This is something really unique.
11:25
So it will simplify our life, and it will make it more easier for us to live a better and happy life.
