00:13cancellations has far exceeded new bookings according to Sri Lanka's travel promotion

00:19agency. They expect about 2 million tourists this year compared to the previous estimate

00:25of 3 million. Earlier the finance minister had said that the incident could cost tourism

00:30sector about 1.5 billion dollars in losses. Emirates is expecting to post positive results

00:37for 2018 but it won't be as good as the previous years because of high fuel costs and adverse

00:43currency fluctuation. This is according to Tim Clark of Emirates Airlines. Emirates Airlines

00:47will post its full 2018 results on May 9. The IMF has downgraded its projections for

00:55the UAE as far as growth is concerned. Growth is expected to be at 2.8% in 2019 compared

01:01to the earlier forecast of 3.9%. They say that Export 2020 along with Abu Dhabi's financial

01:08stimulus will provide the short-term support for the economy.
