00:19Is this your guys' first time at Dubai World Cup?

00:24It is for me.

00:25It's my second time.

00:27Yeah, first time for my wife and I.

00:29I've been a fan of Maidan for almost five years.

00:32I've been watching it in the UK for almost seven.

00:35You've been watching it for almost half this year?

00:37Yeah, uh-huh.

00:38I was desperate to come.

00:40So yeah, when I could come two years ago, or three years ago now, I was really, really,

00:45really inspired.

00:46And then obviously I told my wife and I had to drag her here.

00:49But yeah, we're here now.

00:51I'm so glad I've made it.

00:52It's amazing.

00:53I've been here for like four times now.

00:57What keeps you coming back?

00:59The atmosphere, the show, the race, the hat competition.

01:06The hat is inspired by Lady Gaga.

01:09Look.

01:10And the colour is mixed between royal blue and camel because we are in the desert.

01:18So I said I'd create something with royal blue.

01:22And yes, the same colour.

01:25Actually, yeah, that is my first time to be here.

01:29How do you feel?

01:31Really a little bit nervous and just like surprising.

01:36But I'm so excited.

01:38I do the races here on Thursday, sometimes the brunches on Saturday.

01:42And then usually we do breakfast with the stars and culminating in the World Cup.

01:47Yeah, for literally as long as I can remember when it used to be at the Dubai Racing Club.

01:52The Dubai World Cup once again hosted the region's most anticipated fashion event, Style Stakes.

01:58There were winners in different categories.

02:00Best dressed lady, best dressed man, best dressed couple, best hat and most creative hat.

02:22The judging panel was composed of experts from the fashion industry.
