00:11it was loved by the audience and the critics alike.

00:13I'm excited for my newer projects now because of the result that my previous film got.

00:19So I'm just in a very good space, in a very happy space and it's been a turning around

00:25year for me.

00:262018 has been really good.

00:27And it's been a good year for you.

00:28It's been a very good year and things have just changed.

00:32Life has changed.

00:33How has life changed?

00:34Tell us.

00:35I never expected it to be a 100 crore film.

00:38I never expected to be a part of that coveted list so soon.

00:45I always wanted to be.

00:46I really thought that I wanted to crack that commercial cinema mold.

00:52And Sonu, that character, gave me that thing because of which I could do that.

01:00And yeah, the kind of things that I've heard after the movie, the kind of praises that

01:08have happened, it's unreal.

01:11And the kind of scripts that I'm now finally getting offered and I'm about to choose.

01:20So now I have options to choose from, which previously I didn't have.

01:25So I think that is something which has changed and of course I'm living my dream now.

01:30Look at Chuppi is a film which I completed, which we have already completed shooting.

01:35So it's me and Kriti, it's Kriti Sanon and me.

01:38It's a desi rom-com and for the first time you'll see me in a different avatar.

01:43You're playing a reporter?

01:44I'm playing a reporter.

01:45Okay, are you taking notes from us?

01:47I'm just noticing your nuances.

01:52So this happened with me when I was actually going into that character.

01:55I was being interviewed for something else and I used to watch a lot of people, a lot

02:01of reporters, how they talk and stuff like that.

02:04So yeah.

02:05What kind of reporter are you playing?

02:06Are you playing a news reporter?

02:07Can you talk about it?

02:08No, I won't reveal much but yes, I am a news reporter.

02:12But you'll get to know more once at least the trailer is out.

02:16It's too soon to talk about it but I'm sure the audience will love it when it comes out.

02:22Are you really enjoying this idea of being such a big star?

02:25Suddenly Karan Johar is wanting to be, you know you are the BFF and all of that and I

02:30feel suddenly you're in the map.

02:32Does that help?

02:34I mean, I don't know.

02:37It's always about your work, it's always the talent that comes first and I think in this

02:42industry everybody is just, I'm really lucky to be associated with people who are actually

02:48working with, who actually want content, who actually want talented people around.

02:55So it's a great time for the industry.

02:57So I don't think so it's about BFFs and being, yeah it's not about relationships, it's more

03:02about the talent, it's more about, also about your box office result of course.

03:09So it's a mixture of both the things which works in the industry rather than just being

03:14friends with each other.
