00:09Most road accidents occur on Thursdays in Abu Dhabi compared to other days of the week, a senior official said.

00:16People rush towards their destinations on the day before the weekend causing more accidents,

00:22said Shamsa Al-Muharrami of Traffic Service at the Abu Dhabi Municipality.

00:28She said Thursdays record at least 15% more accidents than other days of the week.

00:33Although exact figures were not available, she said most of the accidents occurred during peak hours.

00:40Dubai's Department of Economic Development on Monday said it has launched an investigation

00:46into complaints against a timeshare company accused of cheating residents.

00:51The complainants, mostly from South Asia, have alleged that Dubai-based Arabian Times Travel and Tourism LLC

00:59failed to honour timeshare contracts.

01:02The contracts promised members access to hotels worldwide besides a slew of other benefits

01:09including health insurance, discount vouchers and the gym membership.

01:14It is not clear how many people were affected or the amount of money involved,

01:19but at least 30 victims said they lost thousands of dirhams.

01:24After a long weekend spent wondering if he should resign or would be fired,

01:29US Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein still has his job for now.

01:35President Donald Trump gave Rosenstein a three-day reprieve pending their face-to-face White House showdown on Thursday.

01:44That's when the man who oversees the Trump-Russia investigation will respond to reports

01:50that he had discussed secretly recording the President and possibly using constitutional procedures to remove him from office.

01:59Luca Modric ended Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi's decade-long domination of football's individual awards

02:07by being crowned FIFA's Best Player of the Year last night.

02:11The Real Madrid and Croatia midfielder starred for both club and country as Madrid won a third straight Champions League.

02:20He beat Ronaldo and Liverpool's Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah to the prize,

02:25though Salah won the Puskas Award for the Best Goal of the Year.

02:30Post Malone is the last artist to join the Yassalam after-race concerts in Abu Dhabi this year.

02:38The American rapper will perform on November 22 at the DOO Arena in Yass Island.

02:44He joins the R&B crooner The Weeknd, British singer-songwriter Sam Smith and rockers Guns N' Roses for the lineup.
