00:25Pakistani forces have intensified their offensive against militants, killing 57 rebels in fresh

00:30airstrikes, the military said today. Fighter jets bombed 20 militant hideouts in Khyber

00:36Tribal District, which borders Peshawar, where Taliban fighters on Tuesday massacred 132

00:41children. Ground troops also moved deeper into Tirar Valley, a mountainous stretch near

00:46the Afghan border.

00:48India moved forward in rocket technology with successful flight testing of its heaviest

00:53next-generation rocket and the crew module. The 630-tonne GSLV Mark III is 43.43 metres

01:01tall. According to an Indian Space Research Organisation official, the new rocket is of

01:06the size of a small bedroom.

01:09Liverpool set up a meeting with Chelsea in the League Cup semi-finals when they carved
