00:00Disney on Ice is in Dubai this week for their performance of Rockin' Ever After, and as

00:11a lead up to the big event, some of the cast were on hand at Dubai Mall Ice Rink to provide

00:15a skating clinic to local figure skaters.

00:19I have been figure skating for 19 years and this is going to be my third year on the show.

00:23I began figure skating because I have a ton of family members that play hockey and I always

00:27thought that it was so amazing just to be able to skate so fast on the ice, and so here

00:30I am.

00:31Today was such a treat.

00:32We were actually on the ice here at the Dubai Mall skating with some skaters from the local

00:37clubs.

00:38I believe they drove up from Abu Dhabi, so we are absolutely honored that they were able

00:43to make the trip to come up and skate with us.

00:45And we were teaching them some moves from our show, which was such a treat, and we were

00:50also learning a lot from them as well, just about what it's like to skate in this region

00:54of the world, and you know, just kind of a lot of Q&A on both parts, so we can learn

00:59from them and they learned from us.

01:02A number of skaters from Abu Dhabi's Zayed Sports City skating team took part, including

01:06Zahra Lahri, a member of the UAE national team and Olympic hopeful.

01:10No matter the skill level of the attendees, they all had the chance to learn some moves

01:14from the show, and true to Disney form, smiles were in abundance throughout the entire clinic.
