00:00Welcome to the Daily Boost. I'm Lucy Burge of the BetMGM Network and I am joined by Kate Constable

00:32off the terrible loss to the Boston Celtics that night. So they are going to be ready, hungry to go

00:38and I mean put up hopefully a ton of points in this game because we're going to need a ton if

00:42each of those players are going to hit their prop. The last time they played Boston, that was the

00:47first game of this season, and they got crushed in that one too. The very next night out they played

00:51the Pacers and they destroyed the Pacers. So this is kind of that same spot where

00:57just coming off of a really bad loss to a good team, you have the Pacers who are a so-so team.

01:01Plenty of opportunities for these players who are the top scorers on the Knicks to put up points.

01:07I would expect a huge game from Karl-Anthony Towns being he didn't play very well at all

01:11against the Celtics the other night. Mikkel Bridges is certainly capable,

01:15and then Jalen Brunson has around 25 a night plus no OG in Enoby for the Knicks. And so that just,

01:21you know, opens up a couple more minutes for some other people. So I actually really like this one

01:25tonight, Matt. I think it's very doable. Yeah, I have very little add to that. You're the NBA

01:30expert here. All I'm just going to say is the Pacers defense, quite the stinker. They got these

01:35three guys. We need to just take a look at their averages here. I mean, the Knicks are favored in

01:39this game by two and a half. So right there, we're getting some value because we just take them on

01:43the money line here. Then you take a look at the player averages. Brunson, 26.3 points per game.

01:50So we just need him to get 25. Towns, 24 points per game. So one point below what we need him to

01:56get is his average. And of course, Bridges here at 18.1 points per game. We just need him to get 15.

02:01So getting plus 550 here for just little nitpicky things to happen. I think that's great value. So

02:37I'm going with the Grizzlies. I won both of my NBA bets last night, Lakers and Celtics,

02:42both to cover. I was very worried, you guys, because I have not won an NBA bet in a long time.

02:47NHL had been hitting for me. And of course, there's no NHL really games going on this week. So I had to

02:54take some NBA spreads and they both worked out very nice. So I'm following that up today with

03:00the Grizzlies minus three and a half. Grizzlies have covered in three of their last four and in

03:05their last two and in six of their last seven on road. The Suns at home are 718 and one against

03:11spread Grizzlies on the road are 16 and nine against spread Grizzlies to cover tonight,

03:16minus three and a half. Lucy, that will be included in my favorite NBA bets article today.

03:23That's how I know it's a good one. Love the Grizzlies today against the Suns, even though

03:28they're on the road. I also like the Pistons tonight against the Bulls, even though the

03:31Pistons are on the road. Yes, they're in Chicago tonight. These are just two teams that are going

03:37in opposite directions, right? I mean, the Bulls at the trade deadline, they really did not do a

03:42whole lot. Sure. They move Zach Levine, but they're not getting any better. And I think they

03:46want to lose games or at least they should. I know ownership kind of wants to just keep them in the

03:51middle. Yeah. Matt and I being Bulls fans laugh at that, but they're just not a good basketball.

03:55They're not a serious basketball team right now. And the Pistons have been playing better. The

03:59Pistons are going to be a playoff team. I mean, they might even exceed expectations and not even

04:06be a play in team, but a playoff team. Kate Cunningham has been playing so well right now.

04:10And the Pistons offense top 10 in offensive rating over their last five, their defensive

04:15rating significantly better than the Bulls over that same span as well. I just think this is a

04:20good spot for the Pistons to, I mean, winning by four and a half against the Bulls, Matt,

04:27that's very, very doable against the Chicago team that maybe, maybe they have a good first half,

04:33against the Warriors other night, and then it's just a collapse city in the second half.

04:37Yeah. I hope they lose. They need to lose. They need to just keep losing constantly,

04:41just over and over and over again. We see what they, what they are now. Jerry's dinner theater.

04:46That's what we call him. He's literally just mid it's medieval times on a court. It's just stay in

04:50the middle entertainment. We're not competitive enough to actually win a championship, but we're

04:55not bad enough for the number one pick. It's just a moneymaker for Jerry and those losers in the

05:00Bulls organization. And that's what they are. Just a bunch of losers. Pathetic. But I could

05:05keep going on about the Bulls forever. I could just keep talking about them. I'm going to go

05:10to college basketball for my best bet tonight. Last night, kind of a stinker. We took North

05:14Carolina plus six and a half that didn't hit. That was just terrible, horrible read by me.

05:20I'm going to go shoot Marquette tonight. Another great spot to be backing them here.

05:24They've lost three straight games. The Golden Eagles have as one of the better teams in the

05:28country, one of the more talented teams in the country. And they were losers of three straight

05:32tonight against DePaul. They're laying 18 points against DePaul after they lost three straight

05:39games. A lot of people are going to be taking the points with the Paul because the Paul is 11 and 13.

05:43Yeah, they're not a great team, but they're not horrendous. They're 11 and 13 and 18 points is a

05:48ton of points, especially to be laying with a team that's lost three straight. But I think there's a

05:52reason they're laying that many points. So give me Marquette here to bounce back in a big way

05:57in a WWE Smackdown of DePaul tonight. So yeah, go ahead and give me Marquette.
